After all, he is one of the few teenagers who becomes a superhero, and a backstory that is still iconic. Here is the full synopsis of the first Spiderman issue.
The first Spiderman Issue tells us the now well known backstory. Peter Parker is a young boy living with his uncle and aunt. He is y bitten by a radioactive spider and gains superpowers. In his own words, as he is showing off, his uncle is shot and killed in a freak incident involving a burglar. Spiderman uses his superpowers to apprehend the culprit, but the Parker family fall into bad times after the sole breadwinner is shot and killed. Interesting point here, that's the end of the story in the original plot.

The first issue of Batman is an action packed introduction to the world of Batman, and the issue becomes awesome simply because it is the first appearance of three iconic characters.
The comic book also has two major inventions shown, the Joker's Laughing Gas and Batman's flashlight that shows footprints in the dark.
